Wow, I've been neglecting this!

I really don't have that much new to write about but I'll put a little here just for those who think I may be MIA.

My jaw/face is healing still, I'm noticing less and less numb areas, maybe I'm just hopeful it won't last too much longer. My chin and lower lip are still numb and I still have these random tinglings that fire off. I don't notice it too much as I think the body has gotten used to it. This week is 10 weeks!

The training on the new job is going forward slowly. I get to hang out with the new group in the afternoons and I'm seeing more about how things work with them. I don't have a complete grasp about the systems they use, that will probably take a few months. I asked my new manager about work schedules, apparently they have a very flexible schedule. I also gathered that a "lunch hour" isn't common with them. I'll be fine with the idea of coming in at 8 or 8:30am as that will now give me a chance to be with the doggies and take them on morning walks with Kevin. I've been given a few assignments with the group, mostly to see who does what and let them get to know me. I move next week to start off the month with my new department.

We have a house guest. Our friends Jessi and Justin are on a trip that will eventually take them around the world. Lucky them, eh? Back when we were in the middle of selling the condo and buying the house and taking a trip to Italy we were lucky enough to have them take our dogs to Vegas with them for almost a month. We have a little 6 pound Mini Pincher, Scully, staying with us for a few weeks. She's a little doll but somewhat lacking on social skills when it comes to being around other dogs, she's an only child in her home. However, she's easy to deal with and our kids are slowly warming up to her and she to them. Bentley has his big paws that she's really not happy with, he wants so much to play and those big paws coming down on a tiny pooch scares her. Scully growls at them a little but that's tapering off too. I think by the time Jessi and Justin come to pick her up she'll be part of the pack and won't want to leave.

Good gosh. Are they on puppy Prosac or something? How did you get them to pose?
Glad you continue to improve Tony. I was afraid you had been in a bar room brawl and had had a major setback.
Good luck on the new challenges at work.
Glad your okay.

Look at them...good kids!! I know she'll be happy to see us but sad to leave. How does she like her new bed?

It's Sunday afternoon right now. I'm just catching up with everything online before we head up to London. We thought LA traffic sucked...until we came here. Even the Indians from Delhi said it's bad here. But spending an average 2 or 3 dollars on a cab ride ain't bad :)
